How up to date is your Data?
You may hold a large Database of clients, lapsed customers, prospects and suspects that has not been updated for some time. You need have trust in your Data if you are going to use it effectively.
Business Data decays rapidly over time and may need ‘cleaning’ - establishing new contact coordinates and recording/ updating job position movers/ joiners, for example.
You will then have the confidence to invest in the Data, conducting direct marketing, event activities, for example (subject to adherence to regulations and guidelines – DPA/ DMA/ TPS, etc).
Data Cleaning can often be conducted at Reception or ‘Gatekeeper’ (see our secrets and jargon page) level and therefore a relatively high number of calls can be conducted ‘per hour’.
